All Midwest phb’s were retired between 1999-2001 This Porcelain Hinged Box was purchased over 20 years ago. Kept NEW in box! Because of the age, there is a small possibility of minor imperfections in the packaging even though double boxed all this time, but the PHBs are new condition never removed from box other than to inspect. Most PHB’s are under 3”. If you need measurements not listed, let me know. All the PHB’s are miniature items making the detail all the more remarkable. These are great collectibles and adored gifts. I cannot ship until it is clear. I am older and cannot afford to fall, and I have hills and curves to drive on and cannot drive on ice roads. I use the United States Postal Service on almost everything with tracking. I use USPS Ground when applicable. I do reserve the right to ship the least expensive way unless you choose to pay for Priority shipping, or Priority Express. Packing Information: I have been selling on Ebay since 1998. I am quite experienced in packing glassware & more. I use a variety of packing methods depending on the item. Cookie Jars: I open new cookie jars for inspection and I stuff the body and head with packing material because it makes all the difference in protection of the item in shipping from the force of kinetic energy. This does not make it a used item! I never call something new that was used or displayed like so many do. I don’t need to. Having the box does not make an item new. Most of my “new” stock was purchased over 20 years ago. Terms of Sale Fine Print: Please read the description. I make every effort to fully disclose any flaws in a short description. Vintage items are sold in the same condition I buy them and you will need to wash them as my hands are not real trust worthy due to nerve damage. I live in a very humid State and though my stock, on shelves, is kept in a metal, insulated building it is not temperature controlled. Most of my stock I have had for over 20 years. Anything that has paper/box packing could smell musty to some people depending. I had one complaint about it since 1998, but I wanted to give a heads up. None of the actual merchandise is affected only the packaging. All the breakables are glass or a glazed product, and plastic, metal or resin does not absorb like a porous material would. Any porous items are stored in plastic bags, and plastic tubs with secure lids. Simple airing would probably resolve any issue with card board boxes or foam in packaging. This is something I have no control over. If this offends you, please do not bid. I make every effort to follow the auction site rules to protect my standing as a seller. I sell many retired & reproduction items and strive to make that clear. The price will make it very clear and if it is an old, vintage item it will say so and not be listed as new.
