In Session, recorded in 1983, is the only known recording of Albert King and Stevie Ray Vaughan performing together. Its long-overdue commercial release (the album didn’t come out until 1999) stands as a fitting tribute to the genius of two of the greatest musicians ever to have played the blues on electric guitar. Now, it’s available on vinyl for the first time. We’ve taken our original Analogue Productions pressing of this classic and raised the bar. It’s now on a gorgeous 180-gram solid slab of Quality Record Pressings vinyl, the best there is. And we’ve replaced the original single-pocket jacket with a Stoughton Printing tip-on old-style model, with newly-added photos inside. Truly a luxurious repressing indeed!
