Must be used with a polishing wheel (see our other listings). How Does It Work? This compound is solid in form but melts onto your polishing wheel as it’s spinning, providing a layer of compound to help bring a shine to your parts as you’re buffing. This is blended with abrasives for great cutting and polishing action. Black compound is best used with a #1 Polishing Wheel (see our other listings) for the first stage of polishing on steels and aluminum and other soft metals.
